All our centres open from 8:30am to 6pm daily (except Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Years Day). Please do not turn up early to queue.

Is the Chesterfield tip open during lockdown?

The household waste recycling centre has now opened to all residents, any day of the week, 8.30am – 6pm, from Monday 3 August 2020. The layout of the centre has been changed to allow more vehicles on site and to allow visitors to maintain social distancing whilst visiting and disposing of waste.

Are Calderdale tips open today?

The regular opening hours are 8:30am to 6pm daily. But Covid restrictions are still in place and the number of vehicles on site is limited at any one time, so that users and staff can stick to social distancing rules to help prevent the spread of coronavirus.

Can I take a mattress to Altrincham tip?

You can recycle mattresses at the following Recycling Centres: Adswood Road Recycling Centre. Arkwright Street Recycling Centre. Bayley Street Recycling Centre.

How many times can you go to Stretford tip?

You can visit more than once a week as long as you don’t go over 52 visits in a year.
