Can you get married at Kensington Metropark?

Weddings may be held anywhere at the Indian Springs Metropark, but one of our more popular spots to have a wedding is the Oak Circle near the EDC.

Are bathrooms open at Kensington Metropark?

Bathrooms are open in the parks. Our drinking fountains are turned off due to proper disinfecting between uses being difficult.

Is there a wedding site at Huron Metroparks?

Wedding site available adjacent to the gazebo during facility hours, 8am – 5pm. Tents up to 250 people can be accommodated. Clients are responsible for their own rental of tent, chairs and furnishings. You are welcome to make your own arrangements for catering.

Is there a Hayride at Kensington Metropark?

Our wagon at the Kensington Metropark Farm Center is equipped with a wheelchair lift allowing visitors of all abilities the enjoyable experience of a horse or tractor drawn hayride. Constructed in 2019, these new trailhead kiosks are set in concrete pads enabling greater access to park and trail information.
